Amnesty International have started the following anti-Israel petition.
According to UNICEF, more than 7,000 Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank have been arrested or detained by Israeli security forces since 2003. Many have been subjected to ill-treatment.
U.S. Representative Betty McCollum has written a letter to Secretary Kerry calling on the U.S. to make the human rights of Palestinian children a top priority.
Urge your Member of Congress to sign the letter.*
Palestinian children living under the Israeli occupation in the West Bank are often arrested between the hours of midnight and 5am. They can be blindfolded with their hands tied behind their backs and taken away from their families for hours of interrogation.
Amnesty International’s ‘Trigger Happy’ report states that at least 1,500 Palestinian children were injured by Israeli forces between January 2011 and December 2013.
It is rare for Members of Congress to hold Israel accountable for human rights violations. Urge your Member of Congress stand up for the human rights of Palestinian children.

As far as I am aware, she has never been arrested or detained, despite constantly doing her best to impede IDF soldiers or – G-d forbid – get hurt.
In fact, Shirley Temper is a terrible example for Amnesty International to use.
Her constant actions actually illustrate how restrained our soldiers are. They also point to who the real abusers in this situation are: the parents of these children, who are constantly placing their youngsters in harms way.
