Israel reduced security in many areas for this Ramadan. The result it seems is a sharp rise in violence, with stabbings, shootings, injuries and murders of Israeli citizens. Wednesday evening, a protest was held near the Israeli Prime Minister’s residence.
The PM was away celebrating an early 4th of July with the US Ambassador, but that did not stop the Israeli flag-waving crowd.
People stood on both sides of the street with Israeli flags and red and white signs demanding a stop to the wave of violence.
“Head of the government, you have brought a security situation to our country that is immoral” was written on large banners held high.
One family wore, “I won’t be a sitting duck” on their heads.
Yes, things are feeling all Ducked up.
