David Cameron, The Way Things Were

As soon as things in the Canadian Parliament start looking positive and maybe, just maybe people are seeing past Arab propaganda, there comes along this British Parliament video.

In response a question in Parliament, David Cameron mentions his proper tour of Jerusalem.

The way it was in the past

Which made me think of this painting by Ludwig Blum, ‘from British Government House’ (Armon Hanatsiv) in 1954.

The way things were as seen from British Government House in 1954.

See for yourself, hardly any houses. Hardly any Arab houses were built, even a few years after Jordan ceased occupying the Old City and the land around the walls.

Maintained the way it was in the past? Rubbish as they say in Britain!
