Pass the salt because someone got burned!
With the US about to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the embassy there, Turkish President Recep Erdogan joined the chorus of Arab and Muslim leaders getting their collective panties in a bunch, issuing threats like mafia bosses.
Erdogan threatened to cut his country’s ties with Israel if the US goes ahead with their intentions (yeah, huge loss for us, I know. I mean, where would we be without…wait, what exactly does Turkey provide us with?)

Israeli officials responded angrily to his threats (not quite as angrily as this horse), but it is Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz’s response I liked best.
Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) said, “We are not accepting instructions or threats from the Turkish president. The days of the sultan and the Ottoman Empire have passed.”
Incidentally, Yisrael Katz himself looks like a mafia boss.
