Rumors of the Death of Israel-India Relations Are Greatly Exaggerated

Following India’s vote in support of the UNGA resolution calling for the cancellation of US President Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, one could be forgiven for thinking the India-Israel love affair had run its course. News of India moving to cancel a missile deal with Israel worth half a billion dollars seemed to reinforce this idea, although the palestinian’s subsequent dick move definitely made things more interesting.

Now we see that it seems things between India and Israel may still be hot’n’heavy, with reports Indian PM Narendra Modi actually broke with protocol to receive Israeli PM Binyamin Netayahu at the airport.

Wow, get a room!

By the way, this video is from Modri’s YouTube channel. So he’s clearly proud of this warm embrace.

This reminds me of that last personal touch of Modi’s.

I’d say despite the UN vote, India-Israel relations are well and truly still warm. And reports that India will revive the missile deal are likely true.
