Israel’s Eurovision win came up as the subject of conversation on New Zealand TV’s Breakfast program. One of the presenters – Hayley Holt – could not resist getting political, putting “air quotes” around the idea that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital. (hat tip: Justin)
According to Wikipedia, Holt stood in the 2017 general election for the Green Party.
