Roger Waters Goes Bananas Over Israeli Ministry’s April Fools Prank Post About Him

7818

As you are all aware, yesterday, April 1st, was April Fools Day. And while I have long given up with my own pranks, I do appreciate those done by others, especially when they fool bad dudes.

Or, in this case, trigger them.

Ladies and gentlemen, Roger Waters Unhinged:

APRIL FOOLS DAY POST BY THE ISRAELI MINISTRY OF STRATEGIC AFFAIRS:

“ROGER WATERS TO PLAY IN TEL AVIV 16th JULY 2019.”

HO! FUCKING HO!
EXCEPT THIS IS NO LAUGHING MATTER.

THE MURDER OF UNARMED CHILDREN AND PARAMEDICS AND JOURNALISTS AND OTHER PEACEFUL PROTESTERS BY COWARDS IN UNIFORM WITH HIGH POWERED SNIPER RIFLES FROM BEHIND FORTIFIED POSITIONS IS NOT A MATTER FOR JEST.

YOU DISGUST ME, AND YOU DISGUST THE WHOLE OF THE REST OF THE CIVILIZED WORLD

ON THE OTHER HAND, THIS BRAVE PALESTINIAN SURGEON WORKED ALL DAY TO SAVE SOME OF THE LIVES YOU HAVE TRIED TO DESTROY.
HE IS A HERO
YOU ARE A DISGRACE

Water’s all-caps rant (drunk again?) and seeming inability to distinguish between April Fools and Christmas have been brought on by this April Fools post by the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Diplomacy:

The thing here that is not a laughing matter is Waters’ continued libels against the Jewish state.

The protesters he speaks of are part of Hamas-led violent riots, not peaceful demonstrations, with the purpose of flooding Israel and leaving a trail of blood and destruction behind them.

Children killed during them were either part of the throng engaged in trying to take down the border fence, engaged in other terror activities like launching incendiary kites into Israel, or were otherwise in close proximity to those who were (where they weren’t was school or home where they should have been, facts that do not seem to bother Waters).

The same applies to the paramedics and journalists, some of whom were actual terrorists.

So Roger, it is you who is the disgrace. And a fool all of the time, not just in April.
