Arab news sites Shehab News and Alwatan Voice have posted that Israeli news anchor Yonit Levi appeared on air with a surgical mask. Alwatan claims “She did this act, fearing the spread of coronavirus in Israel, and to educate people about its danger.” (hat tip: iTi)
It turns out this never happened; an Israeli tweeter had Photoshopped the mask on to Yonit’s face

Upon being notified of their mistake, Shehab deleted their tweet.
Alas, the Arab news sites really have a terrible track record when it comes to medical news-related posts.
