Business Insider has come out with a video bemoaning how Israel damages the olive trees of palestinians.
It is a horribly one-sided propaganda piece.
For a start, it is premised on palestinian reports of damage to their olive trees. I have already shown how these reports are almost certainly fabricated and exaggerated.
Granted, they do mention how the incendiary balloons launched by palestinian terrorists (called “militants” by the journalist) damage Israeli land, but it is a few seconds of a seven-plus minute video devoted to the other side.
They also mention one of the reasons for the IDF clearing land being to destroy tunnels “used for smuggling.” This obfuscates the fact that what is often smuggled are weapons and not just food and consumer goods, as well as that many of these tunnels are meant for actual terror operations, to allow terrorists to enter secretly in to Israel to perpetrate atrocities.
Then there’s this part of the video which supposedly shows palestinian farmers on their damaged land, yet mysteriously shows religious Jews there
All in all, this is yet another example of the mainstream media not doing their job, clearly taking sides by relying on dodgy information while not reporting the entire truth.
