It was recently reported that music legend Stevie Wonder was awarded Israel’s Wolf Prize, recognized for “his tremendous contribution to music and society enriching the lives of entire generations of music lovers.”
At the time of the announcement, my initial thought was “Will he accept it?”, given that in 2012, he canceled a planned performance for the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces after several organizations asked him not to perform.
