In 2017, the Chicago Dyke March banned participants with Jewish pride flags with the Star of David. They subsequently tried to explain it away as opposition to Zionism, not Judaism. The following year, organizers announced their “solidarity with Palestine”
Three years later, and the Chicago Dyke March organizers are getting even more brazen with their antisemitism.

The text mentions “Abolish the Isra*li Occupation Forces,” yet the person depicted is burning the Israeli flag. What they really mean is “Abolish Israel.” (and even if they didn’t mean that, an end to the IDF would spell the end of Israel). But if you don’t believe me, they refuse to even spell “Israel.”
Notice also the mention of “attempts by Z10N1ST and Instagram to censor our account.” They refuse to even spell the word “Zionist” properly, and it is clear what they really mean is “Jews.”
For a minority, these particular members of the LGBTQ community are huge bigots. I propose they hold their next march in Gaza. The Israeli and US flags won’t be the only things being burned.
