The New York Times Ups the Anti Ante

In a report about yesterday’s US House of Representatives vote on providing Israel with $1 billion for its Iron Dome missile defense system, the New York Times dug into its antisemitic bag of tricks to come up with this line explaining AOC’s backflip:

You have to love the inclusion of “rabbis” – in case “influential lobbyists” wasn’t antisemitic tropey enough.

They’ve since changed the text to be less antisemitic:

I said less. It is still pretty bad.

And the Internet does not forget quite so easily.

If only the New York Times would paint Jewish people with quite the same affection as wannabe mass murderers.
