The verdict is in.
Her name is Zhoreh Koudaei, and she’s a woman, albeit a perhaps masculine-looking one with great goalkeeping ability:
In other words, this is a case of Koudaei for the straight guy.
According to different sources the Asian Football Confederation has slammed the Jordanian allegations, and apparently poor Zhoreh has been the subject of similar allegations throughout the years.
So it would seem this to be a rare case of the Iranians not being bad sports.
