NPR are not exactly known for their pro-Israel reporting, and I would not classify their recent podcast on the views of Gazans regarding the terrorist organizations as pro-Israel. But what it reveals is certainly telling, and not something generally reported in the mainstream media. This includes:
- Criticism of both Hamas and Islamic Jihad is growing among Gazans, who are becoming increasingly sick of paying the price for the wars they instigate
- There’s boiling anger in the streets against Hamas, who are blamed for the very low quality of life in Gaza
- Thousands of Palestinians from Gaza are now allowed to work in Israel, and more goods and supplies can go in. But Islamic Jihad opposes this, since it sees this as ‘selling out’
- The terrorist groups are indeed located near civilians
I am hoping many of the leftists who listen to NPR will have their “A-ha” moment like these ones did, after hearing this interview. At least the ones not motivated by Jew hatred.
