Return of the REALLY BAD Israeli Passport Forgery

A Syrian citizen was arrested in Barbados while trying to fly to Germany using a fake Israeli passport. And by “fake” I mean really badly fake.

Here is a photo of the passport. I have marked all the errors I could locate in red. These include:

  • Misspelled words in Hebrew and English
  • Hebrew upside down and in reverse
  • Nonsensical words and letters
  • A made up place name
  • The English and Hebrew given name and surname not matching each other

The fake passport also reportedly had a border control stamp issued in Israel, despite the fact we have not used passport stamps for several years.

This pretty much summarizes my feelings about this:

What makes this even more pathetic (and is something all those reporting seem to have missed) is that it appears this fake passport is based on the very same template of the other fake passports found on Iranians arrested in Argentina in 2019. The very same errors appear here, which means whoever was responsible for this passport did not learn from the past mistake.

That is the problem with so many people these days; whether it is fast food, information, or fake passports, they want things quick.
