Amnesty Regional Director for MENA Spreads Anti-Israel Fauxtography

Yesterday I exposed this obvious case of Pallywood fauxtography:

malak

I was not the only person to point this out to the nincompoop who first spread this fakery, and they decided to apologize. Kind of:

Note this “apology” is only to her “dear friend”, which I assumes means her fellow antisemites and Israel-haters and not folk like me who called her out for demonizing the Jewish state. Also note she did not delete the original tweet.

Someone who did not get the memo that the photo was fake was one Randa Habib, formerly director of the AFP news agency in Jordan and current Amnesty International regional director for MENA.

And that, my friends, pretty much says it all about Amnesty International.

Did I mention that Habib has been awarded by the French president the decoration of “Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Merite”, as well the highest decoration in France, the “Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur” (French: “National Order of the Legion of Honour”)?
