Iranian Football Fans Celebrate Victory With Israeli Journalist

This edition of the World Cup of soccer – besides being hosted by human rights abusers Qatar – has been characterized by a flood of anti-Israel propaganda. This propaganda has been mainly in the form of dozens of photos of spectators (and so-called “influencers”) sporting Palestinian flags and armbands. But there have also been quite a few videos of people dissing Israeli journalists once their nationality has been made known.

But you know what? This one bit of footage – of ecstatic Iranian football fans wildly celebrating their shock 2-0 World Cup victory over Wales with Israeli journalist Uri Levy of the Kan Broadcasting Network – trumps it all.

According to Uri, they never asked him from where he was from. I suspect they were so ecstatic, it would not have mattered.
