Pallywood of the Day: The Hunger Striker Edition

Quds News Network have posted this dramatic photo supposedly of hunger-striking prisoner Hasan Jaradat:

The first sign of Pallywood shenanigans is how he is tied to the bed while the food is next to him. I don’t have experience in an Israeli prison, but surely he would not have to go on a hunger strike if this was the case – he simple would have no way of eating!

And look at how much food is on that tray. I mean, I know prisoners are well fed, but this well fed?!

Plus who took this photo, from the ceiling mind you?

The next sign of Pallywood is this photo, from a palestinian Arab news agency, of Jaradat’s mother holding a photo of him:

It looks nothing like the man in the Quds News Network graphic, unless you want to claim prison has been really unkind to him, even making him hairier.

Ok, I will cut to the chase. The photo of the man in the bed is not of Jaradat, but apparently of an actor from a movie called The Hunger Strike, which was made some time before 2015:

So when I described the photo as “dramatic”, I wasn’t kidding.
