Yesterday, I posted about Montana Tucker’s ballsy show of support for Israel at the Grammys, as well as Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr’s speech that paid tribute to those murdered and kidnapped during Hamas’ attack at Israel’s Supernova Music Festival.
Alas, it seems I missed one of the most overt shows of support there was: from Grammy-award winning musician Joanie Leeds.
Joanie (whose real surname is Leibowitz), posted photos from the evening, showing her holding a handbag with the words #BRINGTHEMHOME in red:
It turns out Joanie has been very vocal with her support – even literally using her vocal talents to bring more awareness:
She has also not been afraid to call out the music community for their silence:
