George Galloway’s Antisemitism Laid Bare

“Anti-Zionist-not-antisemite” George Galloway has in the past threatened to sue those who accuse him of being antisemitic.

I guess he is going to be threatening to sue a hell of a lot more people after leaving very little in doubt:

I do not believe it is true that there is a “massively disproportionate numbers of Jews unearthed in the Epstein Files,” and I certainly do not believe that George Galloway has gone through all of the files and done a statistical analysis. But just say, for arguments sake, it was true. He is clearly saying something extremely vile about all Jews, and understands it is antisemitic to do so.

But he didn’t even end with this tweet (which, you may have noticed, he retweeted for good measure). He also retweeted the following:

That image on the right is of the 15th-century woodcut depicting the alleged martyrdom of Simon of Trent, a key image in the history of the antisemitic blood libel. This “murder” is one of the sources of the medieval blood libel: the allegation that Jews used Christian children’s blood to make matzoh (unleavened bread) during Passover (the Jews can be recognized by the circular patches sewn on their clothing and by the money bags they carry).

This is not alluding to a medieval blood libel. It is a medievel blood libel.

So, George, feel free to send out those legal threats. Good luck explaining to a judge how claiming there’s a “massively disproportionate numbers of Jews unearthed in the Epstein Files,” or promoting the myth that Jews murder children for rituals is merely “legitimate criticism of Israel.”
