Pearl Jam singer frontman Eddie Vedder joined Roger Waters for a performance of Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb earlier this week.
Fans at Chicago’s United Center were treated to a surprise when Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder joined Roger Waters for a performance of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” on Sunday night (July 24).
Vedder emerged unannounced from behind the stage just after the first chorus to join in and sing the parts originally delivered by David Gilmour. This is the first time since 2012 that the Pearl Jam singer joined Waters, having previously sung together at Madison Square Garden at the 12:12:12 Hurricane Sandy benefit.
In addition to handling the vocal parts, Vedder assisted the band — including guitarist and vocalist Jonathan Wilson — for the song’s climactic ending.
I know some pro-Israel supporters were disappointed Vedder would play with this antisemite, but what they may have forgotten is Vedder is not much better than Waters.

I find it highly appropriate they would get together to sing Comfortably Numb, given their attitude towards Israeli civilians targeted for extermination by palestinian terrorists.
