Do you remember how a small group of extremists chanted “Death to Arabs” following a wave of unprovoked attacks on Jews? Of course you do – it was all over the media and social media feeds of US politicians and celebrities. And it was roundly condemned by Israeli politicians and Israeli society (including yours truly).
What’s the bet this next (not so) new chant – also from Israel, but being made by way more people – calling for the death of Jews everywhere, will be ignored by the same media outlets, US politicians and celebrities?
These are the same genocidal chants we have seen over the years being made at anti-Israel rallies. And the world yawned then as it does now. Because look over there, Israel bad and there are only Right-wing antisemites.
